Mogo Zoo's chimpanzee exhibit is in its final stages of completion and Holy and Luis would love you to join this special occasion.
The Story
"Hello, my name is Holly and I am one of two Chimpanzees currently residing at the wonderful Mogo Zoo. I am extremely thankful to the owners of Mogo Zoo, Bill and Sally Padey, as they have provided my brother, Luis, and I with a new home, although it is incomplete at the moment due to the unforeseen high costs. However, despite this costly and arduous project, Bill and Sally have never lost faith in their vision to create a home for Luis and I, and one day for our fellow family members, Charlie and Samantha. In order for this shared dream to become a reality, our new owners need some help. At the moment, the visitors at Mogo Zoo cannot see us because we are off display. However, it doesn't mean they can't hear us! Especially when Luis does his crazy male-testosterone displays. But the good people at Mogo Zoo have amazing plans for us. Our life just keeps getting better. The keepers at Mogo Zoo work very hard to make our lives better by providing enrichment items and activities designed to challenge us. I can assure you that all of your contributions will be used to our benefit. "
Family Fun Day
Mogo Zoo is holding a fun packed family day to help raise money to help chimps like Holy and Luis lead a happy life. You will have a bundle of fun with so much to win and do! The Chimp Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday, 1st June, 2008. It will be a fun-filled day with cartoon characters handing out treats for the kids, jumping castle, activities, showbags and more. It's all for a good cause so tell your family and friends about it and make it a FUN DAY!
